Social Obedience

What is Social Obedience?

Social class caters for dogs who have gained their Basic Obedience title. Its informal environment allows handlers to attend as frequently as they wish. Many find this class useful while waiting to proceed to Agility, Flyball, Rally or Advanced classes. Others appear week after week to enjoy friendships formed over many years.

Handlers are encouraged to work their dogs in close proximity to others – stabilising and enhancing their social and obedience skills while being exposed to a variety of distractions not normally encountered. The object of Social class is for everyone to HAVE FUN while maintaining the basic principles of dog training.
